Bottomless Bellinis & A Lobster Brunch at Kym’s

From the same team behind Michelin-starred A.Wong, Kym’s is the City restaurant that’s famed for its Cantonese menu and floral-filled interior. Having visited for dinner in the past, I wasn’t blown away by the food… but could the new lobster brunch change things? Here’s what I thought of bottomless cocktails and elevated brunch dishes at Kym’s.

The verdict: 8.5/10

The damage: (£120 for two of us)

What we ate: 

    • lobster brunch (£45 per person)
      • Kym’s bloody mary shot
      • smacked pickled cucumber with chilli oil
      • sunny side up sourdough prawn toast with smoked samlon
      • sunny side up mushroom + truffle toast
      • typhoon shelter-style half lobster
      • typhoon shelter-style aubergine
      • jasmine rice bowl, mini three treasures + greens

What we drank: 

    • free-flowing drinks (£15 per person)
      • Kym’s plum bellini – chilli + ginger-infused plum with prosecco
      • red + white wine
