When it comes to beautiful places to ski, Chamonix is up there. Famous for being home to Mont Blanc and a top ski destination, I headed to the Alpine region for a little end of season skiing, spa + snacking. Here’s my guide to the essential things to do in Chamonix.

1. Hit the slopes at Brevent
If there’s snow on the mountain then you better be hitting the slopes. April means that ski passes give you 3 days for the price of 2, as well as, access to the brand new QC Terme spa. Not only did we take full advantage of the final days of snow, but we also got to spend 5 hours in the most gorgeous spa. Think outdoor massage pools, multiple spaces + free-flowing drinks with freshly made food.
2. Get your cheese on at Josephine
Not only did we visit over Easter, but our trip also marked the end of Lent (aka the end of a big cutback on dairy and snacking). I took full advantage; finding every chocolate morsel and cheese-laden nibble in sight. From burgers at Poco Loco to this mighty French onion soup at the stunning Josephine, there was no shortage of cheat day goodness.
3. Drink up in the mountains
With a great selection of chilled out bars and vibrant party spots, there’s plenty of great places to drink in Chamonix. We sipped on tasty French wines at Elevation 1904, super cheap concoctions at Bar’d Up and hit the apres ski in the mountains. Nothing can beat an ice cold drink with these stunning views.
